STARTING MY WEEKEND WITH A WIN!
This is an art piece I created with the help of Nicole, an amazing friend, a phenomenal make-up artist & on this occasion a stunning model. The image came from us testing a few makeup looks to use in the future, but Nicole was able to pull it off so well & looked FABULOUS so we had to get a few shots right then!
I was so excited about the first image that I decided last minute – about 2 minutes before the contest deadline – to upload it to a Photo Of The Day contest on MODEL MAYHEM – a site for photographers, models, makeup artists, clothing designers, etc. to meet, collaborate & discuss all things beauty & fashion. I was encouraged when I got a handful of votes at the very beginning putting me in the lead, but I was ecstatic when I held the lead all day and finished in 1st place!! I’d say not a bad start to my Memorial Day weekend!
