I am an award winning, Northern Virginia based, photographic artist & graphic designer specializing in commercial, editorial, and fine art work. I am a fully accredited member of the Professional Photographers of America, and a board certified portrait photographer (CPP). I earned this designation after meeting rigorous requirements measuring my artistic and technical competence. Professional Photographers of America currently recognizes less than 2,000 Certified Professional Photographers, and I am one of only 8 in the Northern Virginia area.

I began my photographic career in San Francisco working with the local modeling and acting agencies where I photographed test shoots, head shots and local editorials for media, promotions, and local publications. While there, I was also very active in the local photographic community. I was on the Board of Directors as the 2nd Vice President & Competition Director for the Professional Photographers of the Greater Bay Area, a position I held for 3+ years. 

I am constantly driven by my love for creating bold and captivating visuals through the use of light, color, and design fundamentals. The timeless portraits I create utilize beautiful lighting, flattering posing, and a true connection with the individuals in front of my lens. When all of these elements work together cohesively they results in a final product that is not only unique, but tailored to suit your specific needs. Ultimately, I want to produce something beautiful, captivating & stylish – something you’ll truly be proud to show off!

I strongly believe that life begins at the end of your comfort zone, so I am constantly setting new goals for myself and trying to push the boundaries of what I can achieve.
